The National Centre for Earth Science Studies (NCESS), Thiruvananthapuram, an autonomous research centre under the Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES), Government of India, has released a notification for recruitment to various posts on a contract basis for one year. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official NCESS website. The last date to submit applications is April 10, 2026.

Hindi Translator:Master’s Degree in Hindi + Translation Diploma/Certificate (Hindi to English & vice versa). Desirable: 2 years experience.

Project Associate II:CA/CMA (Inter) or M.Com/MBA (Finance) with 2 years experience OR PG/MBA with 2 years admin experience.

Project Associate, 1Post Graduation in Commerce + 1 year experience in Finance & Accounts.

Technical Assistant: B.Sc OR Graduate in Computer Science OR 3-year Diploma in Computer Science.

Field Assistant (Electrical): 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

Scientific Administrative Assistant: Any Graduate degree.

Plumber: ITI (Plumbing).

Multi-Tasking Staff: Matriculation (10th) or equivalent pass.

Post Code 01, 02, 03:Max 35 years

Post Code 04, 05, 06, 07: Max 50 years

Post Code 08:Max 25 years
